Rise
It’s daunting when we step back and perceive what’s going on
We’re nearing several limits, some don’t think we’ve got too long
Will we die or be born again strong?
There are many who’ve committed to the cause
Of finding ways to bring us health:
Teaching, serving, speaking up, and bettering the odds
That more of us might know the greatest kind of wealth
We have the tools but need more to demonstrate their use
And share ideas and works of those who give
Thus arose The Health League to empower and to prove
That the time is now for us to truly live
Let us rise, rise, rise
And see potentials we can realize
And with the big picture recognized
Together, you and I perhaps we’ll find that health has arrived
A group of heroes, some familiar, although warped
While the rest seem new, that’s how this starts
Each with a point to make, not just here for sport
But reflecting how good health has many many parts
In theaters, gyms, classrooms, on fields and streets
Live or in clips, and streaming audio
If this works, the 3-D Health successes will be sweet
And the wave of action something to behold
Let us rise, rise, rise
And show that with integrity we thrive
We’ll be the change that turns the tide
And getting organized
We shall find that health has arrived
Seeking balance in our lives
Being mindful in each enterprise
Facing weaknesses we’ve recognized
Accounting for what we’ve externalized
Sharing what community can provide
Let us rise!
